Here are 11 ways to enjoy Total WellBeing
The March 12 expo at Fetzer Hall will offer employees free food, fitness classes and many wellness activities.

Carolina employees are invited to the 2025 Total WellBeing Expo on March 12 in Fetzer Hall. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., employees can grab free lunch, make time for mindfulness and learn about local wellness resources related to finance, fitness, nutrition, self-care and more.
Here are 11 things to do at this year’s expo:
1.Lunch is covered! No need to pack one from home or place that pick-up order – enjoy free pizza and a salad bar.
2. State Health Plan members can sign up for a free wellness check. Schedule an appointment using registration key EXPO2025 and unique ID UPID or stop by for a walk-in appointment (insurance card required).
3. Move your body and take care of your mind by signing up for free classes like Jiu-Jitsu self-defense, yoga, meditation and more.
4. Spend some time with a furry friend! Stop by to meet with three relaxing therapy dogs throughout the day.
5. Check out a performance by the Bouncing Bulldogs, Durham County’s award-winning jump-rope team.
6. Learn how to make energy bites, apple cider bean salad and a healthy brunch at the cooking demos. Enjoy free samples, too!
7. Say cheese! Snap a pic with Rameses and pose with friends at the Pepsi 360 photobooth.
8. Talk to the experts about planning for the future at TIAA mini saving-for-retirement sessions.
9. Stock up on Tar Heel gear. Employees receive a 10% discount at UNC Student Stores March 10-13 with code THANKYOU25.
10. Hop online for virtual wellness sessions available the entire week, starting March 10. Virtual events will include meditation, yoga, financial wellness, work-life balance and more.
11. Sign up for a volunteer shift to help with taking photos, assisting with food and more. Every volunteer receives a free T-shirt.

Promoting employee well-being is a key priority for Carolina. Expo events are free, and attendance is considered work time for staff, who should seek approval as needed to attend. Free parking is available in the Cobb Deck on Paul Green Drive.
