Carolina Thrift gives clothes new life

The student-run group resells used clothing in front of the Bell Tower each year during move-in week.

Carolina Thrift is working to make sure Tar Heels’ used clothing doesn’t end up in a landfill.

The student-led organization holds an annual sale of old clothes and dorm supplies during move-in weekend and turns the proceeds into grants for other sustainability organizations on campus.
