    Holi brings Heels together

    Tar Heels from a variety of cultures and backgrounds brought color to Hooker Fields on April 12 at UNC Holi Moli. Also known as the festival of colors, Holi is a Hindu tradition that celebrates love, community and the arrival of spring. At Carolina, the yearly tradition connects campus and the local community.

    With Spring Commencement one month away, Carolina seniors participated in the annual tradition of climbing the Bell Tower on April 9. The event, sponsored by Carolina Alumni, had additional activities, including a mechanical bull.
