Programming throughout the 2019-2020 season will amplify the creative leadership of women, through performances by icons and trailblazers, unique collaborations and programs featuring art created by women.
As Carolina students in the 1950s, Carl Kasell and his classmate Charles Kuralt founded WUNC, a UNC student-run station that would later become North Carolina Public Radio. For the next several decades, Kasell was a key voice on NPR as the host of “Morning Edition" and the judge on “Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!”
The display is part of the art-making activities, pop-up performances and colorful installations that will be held on campus April 12.
