Brian Hogan, a biochemist and director of the Carolina Covenant and the Achieve Scholars Program, delivered the annual Last Lecture on April 11.
As a Carolina undergraduate in the 1960s, Phillip Clay worked to recruit more students of color, advocating for a bill in the student legislature to cover expenses for the program. Later, he would serve as a member of the University's Board of Trustees.
Employees who work between 5 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. Monday evening through Friday morning will need to register for the program through their departments in May and June.
