Pride Week 2025 kicks off March 31
Activities include a field day, writing messages for a time capsule, an interactive exhibit and a blackout prom.

Join the LGBTQ Center at UNC-Chapel Hill for Pride Week, March 31-April 4. Check out the events below and RSVP if you plan to attend. The events below are open to all in our Carolina community.
March 31: Chattin’ With Changemakers Kickoff – Carolina Union Art Gallery, 5-7 p.m.
Kick off Pride Week 2025 at the opening reception for the weeklong interactive exhibit “Chattin’ With Changemakers.” Take a trip through the past, present and future with notable icons and influencers whose life and works made change in our lives and the world.

April 1: Let’s Have a Field Day – Karen Shelton Field Hockey Stadium, 5-7 p.m.
For this evening of favorite field day games and activities, bring your inner “kid” for classic three-legged races, four-square, tug of war and other nostalgic treats from back in the day.
April 2: Pride in the Pit – The Pit, noon-2 p.m.
This cornerstone of Pride Week features games, prizes, T-shirts, art, food, fun and more. Come out and enjoy the day with Tar Heels.
April 3: “Dear Future Me” — Carolina Union 2420, 4:30-6 p.m.
What is the future you want for yourself? Come help make that a reality by writing a message to your future self and placing it in a time capsule. Be a part of history by bookmarking your place in time. Let’s remember this moment and imagine the future together.
Friday, April 4: BlackOut Queer Prom – Gerrard Hall, 6-7:30 p.m.
Wrap up Pride Week 2025 in style with a blacklight-themed prom featuring a DJ and special blacklight activities.
