Extras needed for film production in Chapel Hill

Men and women ages 18 and older are welcome to apply for work July 8-10.

Strawberry Fields and Cherrix Casting are looking for hundreds of people ages 18 and older in the Triangle to work as paid background for a film production July 8-10 in Chapel Hill. 

Extras should expect an early morning call time and be available to work the entire day on days they apply for. The production company generally works a 12-hour day, though workers may finish in less than that. 

The companies are looking for adult men and women of all diversities and ethnicities. Pay will be $134 for 10 hours, and overtime for anything longer. 

To apply, follow these instructions: 

  • Email cherrixcastingwilmington@gmail.com 
  • Include a recent photo, first and last name, age, height, phone number and all clothing sizes 
  • The production companies are also looking for cars to use in filming. Include the make/model/year/color of your vehicle. If chosen, you will be paid $37.50. 
  • Format the subject line with the date you’re applying for: Chapel Hill July 8; Chapel Hill July 9; Chapel Hill July 10
