Students investigated some of the biggest issues in health care during a seven-week summer boot camp on Carolina’s campus. The program is part of Project ENABLE, which encourages students and professionals from diverse backgrounds to explore careers in biomedical and health informatics.
Sponsored by the National Science Foundation and hosted by the UNC School of Information and Library Science, Cyber Carpentry introduced graduate students and post-doctoral associates from across the country to a variety of applications, platforms and processes for data life-cycle management and data-intensive computation.

Project READY (Reimagining Equity and Access for Diverse Youth) is designing a professional development curriculum focused on culturally relevant pedagogy and equity literacy that will be distributed for free to libraries and school districts across the country.
